Location

​Egypt is a transcontinental country spanning the northeast corner of Africa and southwest corner of Asia, making it an Afro-Asiatic country via a land bridge formed by the Sinai Peninsula.

Origin

The vast majority of our “Egyptian hair” is sourced from younger donors, ages 18-36. However, we do source Egyptian hair from older donors as well, as we have many clients who custom order human hair blends.

Features

Egyptian hair has a medium to the high luster and shines to it. Egyptian hair is very similar to Peruvian hair it’s a little more coarse,  but very light at the same time which means you would have to use more bundles with this hair than you would use with Peruvian hair.

Once ‘Egyptian hair’ is installed it feels so light but looks completely full with a lot of volumes and the hair blends well with a lot of textures. Hair is sectioned into ponytails, banded and cut. The hair is kept aligned from root to tip. Ponytails from the same donor are banded together and sorted.

Verdict

While many companies pride themselves on offering double drawn hair, we do not. We prefer to keep each bundle of hair limited to as few donors as possible, which eliminates the ability to draw out and sort all the shorter hairs. By minimizing the number of donors used to make a bundle of hair, you get more uniformity in hair texture, which means we are able to eliminate tangling. After sorting, the hair is cleansed, sanitized, weft and conditioned. The hair is then packaged for sale. We do no chemically treat or process the hair.
